| | | | Bill and Raquel blogged today, hinting us that their Dual 970MP workstation, Open Server Workstation, will be on sale next week.
"The Open Server Workstation is a six layer board with two 970MP processors, the CPC945 and Broadcom's HT-1000 and 2000 chips. Excepting those parts, the board and component cost is below $200. Here is the Business Plan we wrote for the board."

The built-in x86 emulator provides 'off the shelf' x86 BIOS graphics card support with a proprietary Linux device driver tie in for ATi, XGI and nVidia.
When will we see those drivers written for PPC? Even if nVidia did have plans for PPC drivers a few years ago, they haven't made any and now when Apple left PPC, I think there is less chance of getting one from nVidia.
The machine seems otherwise quite interesting for me, if I can afford it that says...
