| | | | The Swedish Professor Hans Rosling held a nice speech in Monterey, California about the developing world, child mortality rate and poverty. He also talks about Internet connectivity and how important the $100 computer is for these markets.
We all know the computer is not just a toy. It is a great learning tool, not to forget the illiteracy that usually is very high in these countries. WIth a computer the children can easily learn to spell and communicate with each other. Could the EFIKA be this computer?
"With the drama and urgency of a sportscaster, Hans Rosling debunks a few myths about the "developing" world. Rosling is professor of international health at Sweden's world-renowned Karolinska Institute, and founder of Gapminder, a non-profit that brings vital global data to life."
