| | | | Microsoft's CEO Steve Ballmer today brought yet more stir in the computer world by claiming that Linux contains Microsoft intellectual property. He says that every Linux user out there can owe them money for unpaid licenses.
This is what the Microsoft-Novell deal was about - intellectual property. Novell has agreed to pay Microsoft 40 million USD in the transaction to make sure their users and customers are never sued by Microsoft.
