Thanks for higher production volumes and sales the Open Desktop Workstation now sells for just 799 USD (650 EUR). In SEK this is below 6000!

This includes what you read below - For only 50 USD more than the Mac Mini you get better expansion capabilities, Gigabit Ethernet and exchangable CPU card.

Along with Genesi's website update we can read changes in the ODW hardware configuration.

The memory and hard drive have been doubled to 512 MB and 80 GB, respectively. The CDRW/DVD Combo has been upgraded to a Dual-layer DVD+/- RW drive and an ATi 9250 Graphics card. The 9250 is a bit upgraded from the previous 9200SE (Still 64-bit, but slightly faster).

The upgraded Open Desktop Workstation can be puchased from the PegasosPPC.com Store.

Genesi posted on MorphOS-News.de that they will continue the update program they ran when the Pegasos II was first introduced.

If you have an old Pegasos I - and are the original buyer - you can send your board to Genesi, including 200 EUR + shipping and you will recieve a nice Pegasos G4 1 GHz in return.

If you are interested, contact Genesi by June 30th, 2005. Don't forget to include the serial number of your card.

This offer is beeing handled by Genesi directly, and not using any resellers.

In Bill's and Raquel's latest blog they write about a new partner for high volume ODW production. They will build the ODW for less than 1000 USD and a bunch of the Genesi Home Theaters, featuring S-ATA, DVB-card etc.

The machines is fully equipped in nice cases with 80GB harddrive, CDRW, Radeon 9200SE graphicsboard, 256MB Ram (DDR 266), keyboard (Logitech UltraX Flat (or similar) + Logitech wheelmouse, manuals (english + german included). Installed as you request, MorphOS and/or Linux of your choice.
