Hi to everyone...
why using Pegasos or Mac
I have seen than a Mac G4 is much cheaper than a Pegasos with a G4... so..
which are the advantages of using a Pegasos mainboard versus a Mac,
I want to buy a PPC for using Debian or Gentoo (and trying MorphOS, of course), and Mac seems to be the best choice.

you can't run morphos on a MAC.. and you cant run MacOSX native on a pegasos but in linux with the maconlinux version... one of the adantages is that a pegasos that you can use standard gfx cards..
And gentoo has a great support for the pegasos

Hi Guest
If you can provide a link to the Mac you are refering to, it might be easier to tell differences.
And agree with lisardman.

The Pegasos has officially supported CPU-upgrades. With a Mac you can only use unsupported 3rd party upgrades which tend to be expensive.
