hi,
has anybody managed to get a working Gentoo system on Peg1? The kernel boots, but formatting a partition results in a hanging system.

I used to run Gentoo on my peg1..
I can't remember I did get any error..

Same here. Might be faulty hardware or a faulty connection? Have you had any other OS:es use that harddrive succesfully?

i've used Debian before (kernel 2.6.14), and it worked without problems.
