| | | | The Swedish Pirate Party has launched a new Internet service together with Relakks. The service gives you a 128-bit encrypted VPN connection from your computer to Relakks. From Relakks you get an anonymous IP address that works just like any address. The cost is 5 EUR/month or 50 EUR/year.
Rickard Falkvinge, chairman of the Swedish Pirate Party says:
"There are many legitimate reasons to want to be completely anonymous on the Internet. If the government can check everything each citizen does, nobody can keep the government in check. The right to exchange information in private is fundamental to the democratic society. Without a safe and convenient way of accessing the Internet anonymously, this right is rendered null and void."
Update: They replied to my e-mail; Any OS with a working PPTP client should work. They recommend this client. The reason for not having a how-to for other than Windows and OS X was that many UNIX systems and Linux distributions differ in installation and configuration.
