| | | | Once again there is a try to sneak in the Software Patent Directive into the agenda of the Agricultural Council's meeting next Monday. FFII has mailed to their memebers and supporters and asked them to make the ministers aware of this and to see to that it will be lifted out of the agenda once more, so that the EU parlament can vote about it in the proper manner.
If you want to read the mail, click on the "read more" link below.

On Monday, software patents are likely to be passed by the Fisheries and Agriculture Ministries.
Dear FFII supporter,
at the Agricultural Council's meeting next Monday, the Software Patent Directive is likely to be inserted into the list of agenda items in the last minute. The aim seems to be to preempt ongoing efforts in the European Parliament for a restart of the procedure. [1]
Please write today to your minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and other political representatives, and ask to have the software patent directive taken off the agenda.
Usable argumentation can be found on the webdemopage at:
www.ffii.org
At

you moreover find banners and instructions on how to help spread the word, so that the campaign can reach media and decision-makers.
Kind regards, Felix Klee, Holger Blasum
