| | | | Wall Street Journal is reporting today that Apple has been in talks with Intel to use its chips in the Macs. Wall Street Journal are citing two industry executives with insight in these discussions. Neither comany confirms any decision and an Apple spokeswoman rejected this as "rumour and specualtion".
Reuters writes about better competative possibilities for Apple with cheaper mainstream chips.
For Intel this would be a prestigious win over IBM - Apple's current main supplier.

How slow wouldn't MacOSX be, run it on a lagish P4 that emulates PowerPC ontop what you run MacOSX.
