| | | | IBM has released a beta of Java 5.0 Standard Editon for PPC, the latest
stable available version of Java. This release also seems to contain a plugin for Mozilla/Firefox so Java can be used in the browser, something that the previous version of Java from IBM (1.4.2) didn't have.
It can be downloaded free of charge from:

I really hope the plugin works. That's something we've been waiting for ever since the blackdown plugin stopped working. The pieces are really starting to come together for Linux/PPC :)
