These news are part of the news-exchange between Amigarulez and Pegasos.org.
OS4-Depot grows
The file-counter is at 776 files (31.12.2005), the major uploads this month:
Asyncio.library , now fully OS4-compatible.
Emperor, an Object Oriented programming interface, that lets you create easily
AmigaOS4 Native Applications by just a few clicks.
DosBox, a MS-DOS emulator.
FreePOPs, a program that can be used to download mail from the most famous webmails, but it
can also be used as an aggregator for RSS feeds and much more. This makes it
possible to get all your messages in your favorite email client.
libopenssl, OpenSSL: The Open Source toolkit for SSL/TLS


And a lot of updates too, and as usual lots of SDL-games ported.

Other software

Feelin, a new object-oriented system (OOS) for the AmigaOS.
Alfred Faust released the first public beta of BarsnPipes , for OS4.
AmiPodder, came in version 1.4, AmiPodder now recognises video episodes and can play them back in the video player of your choice (MPlayer and Frogger have been tested). If you have a portable device capable of playing video, AmiPodder can sync the movies to it too.
TuneNet, The MP3 player and streamer for Amiga OS4, came with version 0.70a. New in this version is an optional skinable Docky interface, playlist editing facilities, sorting/find abilities, volume and tune seeking controls.

Hyperion Entertainment added an article about AmigaOS4.0 Memory Allocation on the official OS4 website in early December.
On the 28;th of this month, they held an irc-session at amigaworld.net.
News from the session:

    OS4 is further delayed, mostly due to lack of hardware, but in the meantime there will be an Update4 to the AmigaOne owners, where the major updates will be:
  • Petunia with JIT
  • Warp3D forR200 gfx-cards
  • Amiga-DOS with 64 bit support, which will get rid of the current file-size limit of 2Gb.
  • New versions of Intuition (with screen-dragging) and AmigaInput (USB-HID support)
    The whole log of the session is allready here at pegasos.org ;)

On the second public irc-channel at the session, Adam Kowalczyk (ackcontrols), reveleaded that the PowerVixxen LT card has gone to production.Expected delivery ""End of january give or take. "", and it will be bundled with OS4.

Some lines about Amigarulez
Amigarulez celebrated it's 5:th year online this month. Some of the anniversary goodies were:
An interview with the OS4-developer Andrea Palmaté, and a contest where you can win prices from the coming Amigarulez Webshop. :)

Some of the " br" tags seems to gone missing, it looked ok when I previewed the article.
