What happened with the video software that was offered by a morphos developer a while ago?
Wouldnt morphOS/pegasos make a perfect videorecorder with its fast bootup-time and ability to shut down by simply pulling the plug (or pushing the powerbutton:) and also no login! Imagine just pushing the powerbutton, wait for 10 seconds and get welcomed by a videosoftware that automaticly starts from workbench-startup!
Would be great if it could be dead silent though. I´ve heard that the G3 system was but can those run full screen video? Maybe the EFIKA. |

Was the guys name Ralph Smith or have I confused all those persons? He wanted to know if there was enough interest for his software to go all the way and release it. I hav´nt heard anything since. |

His software was for playing DVB-T. Nothing was said about
any recording capabilities. |

d.olen,
I do not exactly know which software You do think of, nothing that I know anything about anyway.
I do remember though that Ralph Schmidt did mention ones he had worked with some tool for showing of digital television broadcasting.
But in overall I think the best is, that anyone having interest into any particular software project do contact/ask the person involved and behind the software. Thats usually valid for the most cases.
Please, do not misunderstand me. The forum is of course meant for discussions around software. But normally its usually more likely to get an answer from the person related to anything if asking/take contact where its more likely to come in contact with the person/persons in question.
Have a nice evening ! |
