          | I'm new, so... hello everybody!
I have problems with MOLK. There's no sound and CDs/DVDs inserted to drives aren't seen, even HFS ones. I have Sound Blaster Live! sound card. Please, help!

Of course i've patched Apple CD/DVD Driver and use MOL Audio extension. But i have v1.4.8 CD/DVD driver and patch is for v1.4.7. Is this problem?

          | Sorry to be the one to say this, but molk has no support for Soundblaster Live!. It only has sound on the built-in card on the pegasos

But you can use PegXMac, it has better interfaces and more options for setting up Mac, sound cards, etc.

 here's the link, http://www.pegasosforum.de/dload.php?action=file&file_id=610

 hope you find out something

          | Sorry to be the one replying! I tried to help this guy a lot both on ppczone & even more via PM. As he doesn't even seem to take it useful to reply my pms anymore I lost interest...
His Soundblaster IS detected by the molk-kernel (almost every sound-card module is included btw).
But you're right, PegXMac might really be the better choice ...

          | frostwork: I'm also interested in turning on the sound of SBLive under Molk! The onboard ac97 works, but the sound is very slow, unusable for listening music under OSX. I decided to put my SBlive in. I see that the Molk 0.7 kernel detects the SBlive and loads the emu10kx sound module. It also detect and load the ac97 at the same time. Unfortunately there is no sound on SBLive under OSX. I have Tiger installed. I also tried to reinstall the Molk driver package under OSX, but no effect. What else can I do to make it work? Are there anybody out there who succeeded? Or should I wait till the next Molk update?

Maybe an OSX reinstall can help..?

          | Hi! Didn't have internet the last days...
Unfortunately i don't have a sblive to work with so i simply hoped it will work with molk when i released the last one...
but it doesn't seem to work.... (argh)
When I have some more time I'll make a new molk from scratch, but don't waste your time with waiting for it
as I absolutely don't have any time for anything
   friendly,
 frostwork

i doubt an osx reinstall will help!

          | Hi,
I Have a iPod Video 30G and i want to use with PegasosII...only in diskmode it's possible to acces the iPod,but at very slow speed and sometimes freeze my system.
I think it's about a propietary driver needed to access the iPod...

Maybye a AppleTV it's easy to sync because the conection is Wifi or LAN not USB...i want to buy one

Molk work's fine for me ...and i used about a year with Tiger with no problems (updates and many softwares works ).
Maybie a new Molk is suitable for syncing iPod devices?

          | As far as I know, the iPod doesn't work as a normal mass storage
device, and therefore makes it very
hard to access without the iTunes
 software.

The Apple TV syncs to iTunes, just
like the iPod and will probably not
work, either. Unless you hack it with
a full Mac OS X environment.

The iPod is a regular USB mass storage device.

          | Except that it is not possible to create the playlists as far as I know, only possible with iTunes. |
