          | When I changed from xfree86 to xorg today i stumbled on a problem. When i started X i could't use my Alt-Gr key to get the [ @ £ $ ] symbols, really a pain in the arse.

 Well there is a sollution.

When i checked the log there was some errors, xorg couldn't write to

To solve this you can do two things:

 1. The safe way: (recommenden by the Gentoo manual for handling /tmp and /var/tmp)

 | Code: | | chmod 1777 /var/tmp |

 2. The unsafe way:

 | Code: | | chmod 777 -R /var/tmp |
