I dont know how the people behind the MorphOS system came to the name. My suggestion is that if you are curios about it, the best is to ask - The MorphOS Team.
# Amiga - AmigaOS - the name !
I remember in the early days of Amiga, the system was just named - Amiga operating system. Later on, with versions of later dates, the name AmigaOS was started to be used. When this happened I dont know, and do not remember.
# I usually do not speculate in - what reasons people are having behind - the questions they ask.
As a side note also. Language use/rules are 'necessary not' (or better to say, are not) valid for proper names.
