Yes, v 1.3 of Genesi Open Firmware supports USB-keyboards.
It also supports booting from USB devices, so a USB CD-ROM
will be pretty necessary to use for installation.

Unless you want to netboot.

I agree with the lack of USB 2.0. 1.1 will be a serious bottle-
neck during installation and general USB use. Small devices
as this depend on USB and other high-speed ports so they
really should have the fastest ports available. But I guess
they use the USB-port in the SOC and didn't want to include
yet another chip on the board. To keep the cost and size
down. I understand that.
