| | | | The fourth edition of PUSH was held last weekend. As before Pegasos User Group, Sweden arranged it and about 20 people showed up. This year we invited everyone without Windows, unlike previous events who focused on either Pegasos or PowerPC.

This year we had a few people from HjoLUG and we hope we will see them next time. Hardware-wise we had lots of Pegasoses, Amigas, x86 and one CommodoreOne (C-One).
We started on Friday evening and continued until Monday afternoon. Monday (May 1st) was a holiday in Sweden and most parts of Europe.
The network was running smoothly with an Open Desktop Workstation as firewall. The PUSH fileserver, however, didn't work very well. Later we found out why it didn't work. :-)
On Saturday more people showed up and a few of us went for a little shopping spree. There is always room for more computer hardware! On Saturday night we barbecued.
On Sunday we continued our messing around with our computers and Gunne held an Ambient presentation. A few of us hadn't seen the new GPL'ed Ambient yet. On Sunday evening those who were still at PUSH enjoyed a nice Pizza party sponsored by Genesi. April 30th is a big party day in Sweden. It's an old tradition to welcome the spring and our King Karl XVI Gustav celebrated his 60th birthday aswell. This is why a few went home on Sunday.
The rest of us stayed until Monday to get the max out of this PUSH. This years PUSH was as friendly as it has always been. No game tournaments or anything were held. The friendship and meeting other people was much more important than sharing files over the broken fileserver..
Thanks again Genesi for helping us out with the Pizza party. Be sure to check out all pictures in our PUSH 2006.1 Gallery.
