John Lowry with his Lowry Digital Images used PPC970 (G5) PowerMacs for the restoration of the Original Star Wars Trilogy DVD.

With 80 employees, 600 PowerMacs and a total of 378 terabytes of storage they managed to convert the 25 year old movies to High-definition video and DVD quality.

The DVD set has its world release on September 21.

PowerPC is growing bigger and bigger every day!
