| | | | As of yesterday - July 1st - it is illegal to download any copyrighted material in Sweden. This law was set to keep up to EU directives. Sweden was the last EU nation to ban downloading for personal use. Before only making files available to others, was illegal.

and they have also interjuved the biggest troll of them all.. I don't think that private companys should chase criminals...

It's now an criminal act to avoid copy protections on games, false-CDDA, DVD-movies and so on even if you have bought them legally, even if you have the right to make a backup of what you own.
The BBC article don't have all facts right, I guess it's mr Pontén who forgot to tell them that it's not allowed for anyone else than the police and public authority to register people who has done something illegal.
