| | | | Yesterday, IBM presented the Dual-core PowerPC 970 range - the 970MP. The press release is in Japanese, but the slides are in English. They range from 1.4 to 2.5 GHz.
IBM also presented a low-power G5 - 970FX speeding 1.2 to 1.6 GHz at 13 to 16 Watts.
Did Apple just bite the dust?..

Apple knew about this; there's even faster 970MP in stock although IBM has not officially released them yet.
