| | | | The full source of Quake 3 has been released under GPL yesterday (20050819) and the Quake 3 1.32b source can now be downloaded from <a target=_new href="ftp://ftp.idsoftware.com/idstuff/source/quake3-1.32b-source.zip">idsoftware.com, <a target=_new href="http://www.3ddownloads.com/liberatedgames/quake3-1.32b-source.zip">3D Downloads and <a target=_new href="http://0day.icculus.org/mirrors/quake3/quake3-1.32b-source.zip">icculus.org.
There is a MorphOS version of Quake 3 already, but that hasn't been released for the public yet.

Hi,
I would like to comment to this newsitem, that there is no MorphOS version, as the newsitem tells, at least not yet. That information is fault !
There was some screenshots released earlier today, from the danish guy Mark 'bigfoot' Olsen, showing Quake 3 running on his MorphOS system. I have posted links to this pictures in the forum.
Mark also told me he had Quake 3 up and running on his MorphOS system, after 5 hour of work from that the sources were released as GPL.
Here is a link to my post with links to the screenshots; Link to forum
Anyway, wanted to point out that the information in the newsitem about an existing (not yet released) MorphOS version of Quake 3 is wrong and not correct.

Hi,
Ok, nearly two days since I wrote my comment, and still no reaction or comment from the newswriter.
I think its little sad if pegasos.org reports false information. There is no unreleased MorphOS version, at least not from my knowledge. Any comment from the newswriter ?
