The monthly AmigaOS4 news from the Amigarulez and Pegasos.org news-exchange.
November was a quiet month regarding news, but still some interesting news-items showed up.

OS4depot now contains 723 files (1.12.2005)
Some of the notable uploads are:
The
Amiga Bourne Compatible Shell, a bourne compatible (or POSIX) shell to Amiga OS 4.x.

New versions of Simpleplay, a music player that plays MP3, MOD, IT, S3M, XM, WAV, VOC, OGG and MIDI.
RockBEAT, software drum machine.
WETa program that shows the weather conditions on Workbench.
WarpView, a fast image-viewer.
XNET An OS4-native RSS-reader.
WookieChat, the IRC-client , now it works with AmigaOS3.x too, (the previous version was OS4 only)

A bunch of SDL-games and datatypes has been updated/uploaded during this month as well.

An announcement came about PoinRider, a PowerPont viewer for both OS4 and MorphOS, that shows some preview screenshots and promised a public beta before Chrismas.
Jocke Birging has updated the tools for cross-compiling for OS3 and OS4, and made tools for cross-compiling for AROS as well.

Alinea Computer a German based software-company announced it's existence. The company says it will mainly be concentrating it's work mainly on the development and the distribution of AmigaOS4-applications and -games, both free-ware and commercial programs.

They presented an OS4-version of the 2D Space-Action-Shooter Crossfire 2, ANotice, a memo programme for the Workbench, and AmiPhoto, photo album for digital photos and pictures.
As well as asome free-ware.
Amigaworld.net, decided to make the closed AmigaOne Owners forum public, so now the forum-content is publicly available.

SAFIR (The Swedish Association of Amiga User Groups), managed to get in touch with Adam Kowalczyk, ACK Software Controls, and ask some questions about the coming PPC accelerator-cards.
The article can be read in English, in Spanish and in Swedish

Alfred Faust released some screenshots of the OS4-version of Bars'n'Pipes, the screenshots can be seen here and here.

Hopefully there will be a little more to report next time. :)
Happy Holidays from Tomazkid and Amigarulez
