|  |  |  | PegXMAC has been released. It is a complete MOL Live CD for both Pegasos 1 and 2. You only have to install MacOS. MOL supports both MacOS 9.x and MacOS X.

|  |  |  | IBM has licensed Genesi with the PowerPC® logo for all it's products containing at least one IBM PowerPC 750 microprocessor. Genesi has also started producing Pegasos II:s with the new PowerPC 750GX used in the Open Desktop Workstation GX-series. CPU-cards based on the 750GX for existing Pegasos II owners will be sold separately.

Genesi will be offering HP products with the Open Desktop Workstation and the associated server and thin client configurations based on the PegasosPPC. HP Technology Solutions and Tool and Office Template Support will be offered in conjunction with Genesi products...

David Bentham, creator of PegXLin for the Pegasos 1, announced on Morphzone that he just is testing the LiveCD PegxMAC. Maybe on a Pegasos near you soon.

|  |  |  | bplan has finally released the awaited OpenFirmware update for the Pegasos II. Among the new features are via-rhine netboot, Linux memory problem fixed, RTAS support (software halt and reboot) and DRI should now work with most Radeon cards in GNU/Linux.
The update can be downloaded from http://www.bplan-gmbh.de/update05042004_e.html.
Do not try to install this on a Pegasos I as it will break it.
