| | | | The official website of the Swedish police is down on Thursday evening. It appears it is beeing DDoS'ed. The police isn't exactly popular among certain internet communities but no investigation has yet started. The computer engineers are working hard to get everything back up and the attack also affected internal police communication.
The people behind The Pirate Bay denies any knowledge of this attack.
Did they perhaps seize their own server in the PRQ raid aswell?..

| | | | Mind who you date! If you date someone connected to The Pirate Bay a few times you may lose all your computers. This happened to "Kendra" who lost everything yesterday. The reason in her words: "I've dated a guy from the Pirate Bay a few times."
Read it in her blog here, and post a comment.
EDIT: Her journal was deleted during the time I wrote this post.. Too much traffic, maybe?

| | | | The Swedish webhosting provider PRQ was raided yesterday in The Pirate Bay bust. Many innocent websites were taken down when they completely scrapped the entire datacentre.
Among innocent webservers are Istheshit.net and Fragbite.
Have a look at these pictures.

| | | | The world's largest torrent tracker The Pirate Bay was busted yesterday morning at 11:30 CET. About 50 police officers together with the Swedish Anti Piracy Authority raided three webhosting providers - Bahnhof Internet, Rix Port 80 and PRQ.se.
Several homes were searched and three persons, 22, 24 and 28 years old were arrested.
The Swedish internet traffic went down by 20% right after the bust.
As a side-note the Swedish Anti-Copyright and Patent activist group Piratbyrån was busted aswell. This is probably the biggest mistake they did.
Expressing your thougts in Sweden is sacret. Sweden was the first country in the world to implement Freedom of Speech in the constitution a few hundred years ago. If you want to protest to this use your phone and call Stockholm Police on 08-401 04 06 in daytime CET and ask why they break people's constitutional rights.
More information in English.

| | | | I have booked 20 submarine sandwiches for each morning; Saturday to Monday during PUSH. The price will be 40 SEK each so make sure you bring along 120 SEK to get breakfast everyday. Only 20 are booked so there is of course a first-come first-serve basis, but I don't think there should be any problem. I told the clerk to book up various "tastes" of subs - cheese and ham, shrimps, beef etc.
