Amiga Future Homepage Needs Help

The Amiga Future is a non profit project. That's why the Amiga Future homepage has to manage itself financially.

The huge 8GB (approx) homepage is entirely paid through advertising, donations and our own private finances.

Particularly expensive are the developments of new expansions, databases and other features.

That's why we ask you to support us by donating money. It allows us to make the homepage more user friendly and much more comprehensive.

As well as a first report about Tracker Hero you'll find other reviews of Netsurf, BOH, Amiga Forever 2009 and lots more articles and reviews of interest in this issue.

In addition to many full versions and PD software there is a FULL version of Hell Squad on the cover CD.

A more detailed description of the magazine's content can be found at: http://www.amigafuture.de/kb.php?mode=article&k=3351

Amiga Future is available as both an English and German print magazine directly from the editorial office and selected Amiga dealers. The Amiga Future magazine can be obtained as a single issue or subscription with or without a cover CD.

Anyone interested in reading the magazine should order it as soon as possible, to avoid disappointment by it being sold out.

Amiga Future needs YOU ...

We are still needing translators for the magazine. Your native language should be English or German. Of course you should be able to read and write both languages as well.

If you are interested in being part of the Amiga Future team then please contact us via email at Andreas@amigafuture.de .

Lawsuit: Amiga loses against Inception Group
Posted by: ironfist on Friday, August 14, 2009 - 17:44
Submitted by ironfist
Back in June Inception Group Real Estate, the former landlord of Amiga Washington (that renamed itself back to Amino a while ago), sued the current incarnation of Amiga. For unknown reasons, said incarnation had committed itself in November 2008 to paying parts of Amino's debts to the landlord.

Four weeks after Inceptions initial motion, the legal clerk declared that Amiga Inc. had not replied yet - something they still didn't do, as far as we can tell - and that they are "in default". In the meantime, the actual judgement is available aswell: Inception Group is entitled to get the owed money (about 150,000 USD) aswell as an interest of about 7000 USD.

Only Inception's request to have Amiga ordered to pay their attorneys’ fees has not been granted yet: The plaintiff is directed to file appropriate documentation first.
