Since a long time we approach our English speaking users with the Amiga Future homepage.

It starts with online articles, a comprehensive gallery/links section and full versions being offered on the page.

To ease the use of the homepage for English users we published an English version of the page.

There are English news and an English forum available.

The English section can be accessed using the URL http://www.amigafuture.de/indexe.html or by clicking on the button in the navigation.

APC&TCP is searching for translators
Posted by: Trizt on Sunday, March 04, 2007 - 23:06
Submitted by AndreasM
APC&TCP is searching translators from German to English for a bigger, long term Amiga project .

Requirements:

- English has to be native language
- very good English spelling
- you have to understand German texts very well
- basic knowledge concerning the Amiga (you should know what you translate)
- speed (generally the translations have to be done quickly)

You don't have to work for free. But we cannot pay huge amounts of money for it.

Interested users should contact us via email in German language at Andreas@apc-tcp.de

Unfortunately respones may take a while.

Amiga Future Online Again
Posted by: ironfist on Thursday, February 15, 2007 - 10:58
Submitted by AndreasM
The weekend before last the Amiga Future homepage was hacked two times. The good thing about it was that we have discovered the security issue and fixed it.

However some scripts were broken becuase of that. One of them was the email contact form. If you sent us an email please try again. We had also the luck that our hoster switched to a newer version of PHP. Sooner than we expected. The result was that our online shop didn't work anymore. This issue is fixed also now.

Due to the many changes we have reworked the cheat database too. In the cheat database there are currently over 5000 cheats, solutions and tips for more than 2000 Amiga games. The database is now available here.

Italian PowerPC Manufacturer ACube is Working on (Possible) Unauthorized AmigaOS 4.0
Posted by: ironfist on Saturday, January 27, 2007 - 00:35
Submitted by ironfist
The Italian PowerPC manufacturer ACube Systems, currently working on the AMCC 440EP-based Sam440EP is working on AmigaOS 4.0. The news has leaked on an Italian Amiga forum and it is said the news should not be spread. This could mean they are either not ready to announce it or they don't have any license from Amiga Inc, yet. There have been no announcements from either party that ACube Systems managed to work out a license-deal with Amiga Inc. In fact, no other company than Eyetech has any license to produce Next-Gen Amiga hardware.
