| | | | Pegasos.org can today reveal the planning of a new 100% Amiga site, free of all blue trolls and Genesi pollution. 'Amigans Defender' Mikey C has launched his own site that will replace AmigaWorld.net for the true believers. The site officially launch on Friday but Pegasos.org can inform you all that you can register today!
No trolls are welcome and the site only promotes AmigaOS 4.0. Classic Amiga users are 'welcomed' as the 'Amigans Defender' Mikey C said; "We will also support/welcome AOS3.x & Emulation users as well. (But not promote OS3.x for obvious reasons)"
'Amigans Defender' Mikey C also hinted they plan to make the site a little haven for AmigaOS 4.0 users with these words; "We reserve the right as to who is allowed to use this site." Sounds like a great place Mikey! Pegasos.org wish you best of luck!
So, if you are tired of all the "MorphOS pollution" over at AmigaWorld.net, MorphFreeZone is your saviour. Register today!

| | | | This month the Amiga Future is getting 8 years old. Enough reason for us to celebrate a little. Most users thought eight years ago that we would survive only some months.
In November/December 1998 we came into agreement with the publisher ICP and the first issue of the Amiga Future went into print.
Because of distributional reasons the Amiga Future was published as a special and the first issue had the number 11 instead of 1.
The Amiga Future was released with a cover CD every two months from the beginning.

| | | | Today issue 63 of the Amiga Future (November/December 2006) has been released, This means that all subscriptions and preorders have been brought to the postal office.
Again, this time we have some interesting articles in the magazine. We looked at the actual situation of Amiga Inc. and Hyperion, visited the Classic Computing and of course reviewed a lot of software vor the Amiga.
However workshops about relais cards on the Amiga and WHDLoad are also not to be missed.
In this issue we drift a little into the C64 world. We reviewed C64 emulators, the C64 Classix 2 and of course interviewed Protovision.

| | | | Are you totally lost in the last years' Amiga affairs with KMOS, Itec and the rest? Do you want to know who Garry Hare was and how could they ever agree to pay him a salary of 25000 USD per month plus all benefits? Amiga Inc went to court against Garry Hare after his termination as CEO. You can read everything in the scanned court documents here.

| | | | At the moment a complete rework/update of the different travel guides is in progress. Further there is an extension of the information about parks with better maps for a more precise route calculation. Of course the emphasis lies on the German map because of the much higher demand. The network of streets is uptodate including recently opened highway sections.
If someone wishes his residence to be included (even the smallest places!) in the map just write a mail with the name of the location, Geo-coordinates and information on the street connections (description and the exact distance to other locations).
As always we are searching for helpers for data entering! Lists of coordinates are always welcome... Alternatively also helpers for the entering of the data into the maps themself.
There are also possibilities for the view and print od data in various formats like HTML or PDF instead of AmigaGuide.

| | | | Due to a move to a new server our homepages were only partly accessible the last days.
Unfortunately the onlineshop also was also nearly a week offline.
But now the switch to new servers has been completed and the Amiga Future page and all APC&TCP pages are accessible again. Also the onlineshop is ready again.
Because of this there have been also failures in the processing of mails. If someone has put an order and hasn't received a confirmation mail please get in contact with us.
At this point we want to remind you that the switch of the BBoAH pages hasn't finished yet. Many users link directly to the German/English starting pages. Soon they won't exist anymore. The only valid domain is http://software.amigafuture.de.

| | | | Because of personal reasons, Ian Chapman, the founder of the Big Book of Amiga Hardware, has given his seven years old compedium in new hands.
Amiga Future is proud to announce to become the new maintainer of the BBoAH. The compendium will be the same as known, but only a few optical adjustments.
In future, the BBoAH will further exist in two languages - english and german.
Unfortunately, Ian Chapman is not able to free the well known URL http://Amiga-hardware.com for the BBoAH in the Future. Because of this, the BBoAH ONLY can be reach at http://hardware.amigafuture.de. Please update your bookmarks!
