Pegasos.org Attended AmiGBG 2005 (Including Photo Galleries)

Most of the Pegasos.org crew attended AmiGBG 2005 yesterday in Gothenburg, Sweden. It was the Amiga's 20th anniversary and we had a great time. We had a showtable where we had 1 Pegasos II G4 with Gentoo Linux and MorphOS, 2 PowerBooks (12" and 15" Titanium) - both running OS X 10.4 and an IBM RS/6000 Enterprise Server B50 (PPC 604e@375 MHz) with AIX.
Our goal with this was to show off the PowerPC market and push for PUSH.

Amiga Future July/August out

Today the Amiga Future #55 (July/August 2005) has been released.

This means: All subscriptions and single orders have been brought to the postal office today. When you'll be holding the paper in your hands only depends on your kind postmans. :)

Since this will be an anniversary issue all subscribers and preorderers receive a second CD free of charge.

Team Aros bounties

Team AROS has initiated a bounty for a MorphOS wrapper for AROS/PPC amongst other bounties as well.

On Team AROS webpage is to read:

AmigaWorld.net asked its users to write down questions to Alan Redhouse of Eyetech, licensed reseller/producer of Teron PPC boards - the AmigaONE. AmigaWorld.net staff selected 20 of all questions and forwarded them to Alan Redhouse.

He has now answered them.

Harddisk with source code salvaged

Jens Langner announced he have salvaged all source code for a couple of mui classes and other software from Allan Odgaards harddrive.

This means source code for this software is now available again.

In recent issue of the swedish computer magazin Datormagazin www.datormagazin.se is a 2 page article about AmigaOne MiniITX ยต-A1-C & AmigaOS 4. The issue is available in shops from today. Price: SEK 64.50. It should be possible to get also in Denmark, Norway and Finland.

Its very well worth reading if you are little curios about or have an interest into whats happening around the Amiga platform.

Datormagazin is a very multifaceted computer magazine with a lot of interesting reading if you have an interest into computing.

Swedish Amiga dealer Guru Meditation is the first to offer the known DMA and USB hardware fixes for the AmigaONE XE motherboard. The price is 30 EUR + shipping if you purchased your board from another dealer. If you bought it from them only shipment costs are required.

This fix will invalidate any warranty you may have!
