Kickstarter project "Commodore Amiga: A Visual Compendium" funded in a day
Posted by: Trizt on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 - 18:57
Submitted by Trizt
The Amiga compendium’s Kickstarter campaign started early Monday morning and by the early evening has surpassed the funding required to go ahead. The Kickstarter campaign is currently sitting at 148% funding via nearly 850 backers with 28 days left to go. Backers can pledge anything from £5 for a digital PDF version of the visual compendium all the way up to £1000+ for a signed hardback copy and a myriad of other goodies that come with a pledge of this size. The campaign also has stretch goals meaning that extra pages of content and more will be added once it hits certain funding thresholds. Source: hereisthecity.com

DigiBooster 3.1 released
Posted by: Trizt on Friday, September 26, 2014 - 06:45
Submitted by AndreasM
DigiBooster 3.1 was released for AmigaOS 3, AmigaOS 4 and MorphOS.

DigiBooster 3.1 is available on CD-ROM and as download in our online-shop
http://www.amigashop.org.

DigiBooster 3.1 follows the traditional tracker's way of making music with an
advanced audio processing engine, and an up-to-date MUI based graphical user
interface. It retains backward compatibility with its Amiga ancestor,
DigiBooster Pro 2. On the other hand the program code has been written from
scratch. Its modular design gives it a straightforward path for future
development. Except for versions for classic Amiga computers, DigiBooster 3.1
is also compiled for PowerPC processors, taking advantage of their greater
computing power.

The Amiga Future webpage's 15th birthday
Posted by: kozz on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 - 16:12
Submitted by AndreasM
Today is a memorable day as we celebrate that Amiga Future has been 'alive' for 15 years.

To celebrate this event we have 'penned' a short article on our history, which is available from the following link:

English: http://www.amigafuture.de/kb.php?mode=article&k=4622
German: http://www.amigafuture.de/kb.php?mode=article&k=4621

Additionally, there are to be many more updates this month. We really have to catch up, as it seems our waiting-list is almost out of control.

APC&TCP is almost 22 years old - New Webpage
Posted by: Trizt on Friday, June 06, 2014 - 10:50
Submitted by AndreasM
The history of APC&TCP began some 22 years ago. Despite the many sceptics, competitors and other people with a poor attitude and feelings towards us, we are still in business today.

Also today, our new APC&TCP web page has just been launched.

You can find the story regarding APC&TCP from the URL http://www.apc-tcp.de/index-en.php?page=history .

Of course, this story is only a part of the complete history of APC&TCP. If you can think of anything that should also be mentioned, please don't hesitate to contact us.

We do have a small offer to celebrate this wonderful anniversary.

All users that order a printed edition (1 year subscription or single issue) of the Amiga Future in our web shop http://www.amigashop.org in between 22 of May 2014 to 7 June 2014 will get two Amiga Future adhesive labels for collector's folders for FREE. The two badges will not show up explicitly in the store.

Amiga Future looking for Copyright Holder
Posted by: Trizt on Sunday, April 27, 2014 - 11:46
Submitted by AndreasM
As you all certainly know, on the Amiga Future homepage and cover CD we
publish full versions of commercial titles. But even shareware full
versions are always included again.

It does not matter whether it is games, applications, drivers, or CDs.
We want to get all commercial titles.

In order to do this legally, we always need a permission of their
respective owners.

The biggest problem is to find these owners. The next problemthen is to
get a contact with the respective rights holders.

We ask you therefore for your help.

Do you have contact with rights-holders of shareware or commercial
software?
Do you know any personally or did you havecontact recently with
someone?

Then write us an email:redaktion@amigafuture.de

We're also looking for someone who can help us to get in contact with some
Italian,French and American companies.
Ideally one who comes from these countries and possibly can make a call.
