~30% of the visitors here uses a x86 only operating system, so there should have been more possitive reactions on the switch, but nope. IMHO this is the first move to merge OSX into the future Microsoft Windows, there have been the last year many openings for *nix people at the Microsoft Corp. The market will be small for people who wants to pay extra for an Apple-x86 when they can get a wintel machine for half and get all the features in Microsoft Windows XP++.
