There is now a MorphOS-native floppy driver (trackdisk.device) available for the built-in floppy controler in the Pegasos computer.

Read more here: Pegasos floppy driver for MorphOS

    Short info
    - This driver comes with the preferences program which allows you to set number of track read retries and turn on "No click" mode.

    - Pegasos has the same floppy controller as common IBM PC-compatible computers so it can't read native Amiga-formatted floppy disks. Only standard PC format is accepted (1.44M for high density disks and 720 KB for double-density)

    - In order to use this driver copy it into DEVS: directory and write a mountlist for the device. Examples is included in the archive.

    - If you are a developer and wish to help you are welcome to join the project. There is a set of simple tools called FloppyTest in the "Reference" package on file release page of the project site which illustrate programming techniques to be used in this driver. You can download them, play with them and look at their source code to understand how.
