Where is the Freescale PowerPC Architecture Heading?

Glenn Beck, Marketing Director of Freescale Computing Platforms Division has put together this 35 page PDF file with information and roadmaps for the current and future PowerPC CPUs from Freescale. This is the presentation made on the Freescale Technology Forum in Orlando, Florida in June.

Genesi also has some additional information to this presentation. Click 'Read more' for details.
"Presentation UPDATE: We have since ported the Pegasos HAL/OF to the HPC II. Running out of Flash ROM, the Pegasos HAL/OF allows the HPC II to boot a GNU/Linux kernel off a SATA drive to make the HPC II look just like Pegasos II. When mounted with all the needed gear the HPC II does everything the ODW can do thanks to the Pegasos HAL/OF. There is a big valued added there that we are providing to a growing list of customers. It is about speed to market and bringing up new boards as quickly as possible. Plus, the software available to all Pegasos HAL/OF enabled PowerPC boards will progressively grow with time as more and more boards benefit and advance software development on compliant systems."
