Does anyone know if the new Catweasel MK4 will work with MOS 1.4? I have been told by Software Hut that this is not so. I find it strange that the MK3 works right out of the box with MOS but not the MK4?
The only thing that is of concern is the ability to read my old Amiga 880K floppys on my Peg. Too bad I missed the boat on getting the MK3.
I just got my Peg (Peg II with G4 1GHz) and would love to get some of my older amiga stuff coppied to the new system X-CAD, Final Writer, Word Perfect. etc
Has anyone got there mitts on a MK4 and tried it on there Peg? If so, what will I need to do other than put it in a free PCI slot?
Thanks for any help any of you can provide
Len...

I think you still would be able to use the Amiga mc68k driver, but not sure he would make one. |

Ibanting:
Jens Schönfeld, the maker of the Catweasel mk IV, have stated several times in public forums that he wont make a driver for MorphOS.
If anyone else will make a driver for MorphOS - might happen, I dont know.
Here is some other hints you might want to look into.
#
With a USB-floppy drive you can use floppies in (MSDos - PC-format). You can create such a floppies on your Amiga as well.
#
In download on this site, you will find a guide into how to use virtual floppies (or perhaps iso files) in AmigaOS & MorphOS.
Link to download
Called 'Mounting virtual disk guide'. Im using this myself then and then, mainly for mounting iso images. You can create such images, floppy (dms or adf) or isos on your Amiga as well.
#
You can connect your harddrive from your Amiga in the Pegasos, and transfer/copy files from the Amiga harddrive to the Pegasos harddrive.
#
If you have network between the computers, you can just transfer files through the network. |
